it appears all they have to do is turn on the recording device. There seems to be very little work involved into putting a transcript together, other than typing a few words here and there and then letting the typist transcribe the entire deposition. Just a thought, especially if you're struggling with finding medical dictation. I don't know what the criteria is for being a CR in whatever state, but the CRs I type for seem to be a bunch of dumbasses that just sit there doing nothing. Virtual depositions are a time for goofing off, so you could get a lot of housework done during that time, pay your bills, you know, whatever personal needs you have could just be taken care of during your deposition. I guess once you get past the point of being certified, and some states don't even require certification, you just need to be a notary public to swear in a witness and that's not hard to get, you would have a pretty easy peasy job to do.
