with how good a court reporter is or isn't. They're just taking in the work to make a buck off a typist just like medical transcription services do. Just from experience, any complaints we sent about a reporter not doing their job, fell on deaf ears. We got the same crap time and time again from the same reporters. Yeah. I think a reporter should be taking down the record. They're the ones making $8, $10 a page, while the typist is lucky to make a dollar something off of them and they did the majority of the work.
