The post is about CRs and those that do not hold up to - the credentials

of being a CR. Those that sit around pounding away on their Stenoram (I have certainly heard them pounding away on something) or whatever device they're using to produce their record and produce two words in a sentence. The post is not about legal transcription companies and what company is better than another, what services they provide and how they provide them. The post is about CRs taking down the record and producing zilch for that record and leaving the transcript the responsibility of a typist. Ultimately, it is the CR's responsibility, but most typists being ICs and having to put up with the sheer agony of trying to decipher what a CR may have heard while being present in a deposition but did not capture is the whole brutality of some legal transcriptionists.
