So please share how many hours a day you put in for this 50K? Are you self-employed? Do you work holidays? Are you working weekends? Do you work on your own time, as in just when you feel like it or it fits into your schedule of other things you're doing in your daily?

How long have you been an MT? Did you start out in a hospital setting where you had support for your learning purposes?

All these factors come into play. I am almost positive you cannot say you sat down one day with no experience and no education and started making 50K a year. It doesn't happen like that for anyone. So, let's be real about this and not lead new MTs astray only to find out the hard way they wasted their money and precious time.
