Depressing job. - sm

I took that post to mean the job itself is depressing, not the content of the reports you transcribe. The fact that we can't pay our bills on this low pay and flexing and jumping from company to company to get the work and having to learn new accounts and dictators.

This is an isolating job. You have to be plugged in and concentrating working from a home office. Even in-house, it was isolating. No one wanted to bother me since I had headphones in and I just always looked busy to everyone, let alone the fact that for quite a while in-house, I was shoved in a closet-sized office or some office completely away from the department. Most times, they'd forget about me when it was birthday cake time or gift exchange at Christmastime. Thankfully, I had a good friend that I could go to lunch with or I'd been left out in the cold with that as well while others went to lunch in groups from the department. They always looked happy. I always felt drained.

I think this job has it's hazards that no one can see from the outside. I've been at this for decades and my back and legs ache. My arms go to sleep just randomly. It's definitely not a healthy environment physically or mentally.
