Company Board

True but... - gh

True about the legality of it but ethics could be questioned. It seems these threads reference one person more than anyone else. If that's the case, so many questions come to mind. Can all supervisors equally partake in this practice? If it's just the one, does she have some hard-luck case that the company allows her to make extra cash? Or were the supervisors told they can't engage in this practice and she just does it anyway?

If it is the case that a supervisor can say, "Hey boss I'm short of cash, can I get a bunch of easy, high-line jobs," shouldn't that policy be made public so all employees could ask for that occasionally? I'm being facetious, but you see where continuing to allow this could lead don't you?

Is the company transparent about when supervisors can assign work to themselves? I think most MTs would understand a stat situation, but these threads occur here because of the excessive nature of the problem with one person.
