should make as much as a college professor or a research scientist with a doctorate degree. You are claiming that you should make more than firefighters or policemen. It has nothing to do with it being done mainly by women. Chemical operators in factories who work with dangerous chemicals don't make $80,000 a year. If you think that your job requires as much skill or is as dangerous as those other professions and should be compensated as such, I think you need to try working other places.
