Well said! I agree with everything you say. You would think that the docs might be grateful that we correct their errors. I am beginning to learn Spanish and have several Hispanic friends who correct me when I make a mistake. I am grateful for that; if I don't know when I am making an error, how can I correct it? But I guess those huge egos just don't allow for any "correction." I am just so glad I am an old lady and only have to transcribe when I want to. I am not sure I could hang in there if I were younger. I surely could not in good conscience encourage anybody to become an MT in this day and time. Take care.
