Basically you did overflow work for them, while their MTs probably took time off for the holidays.
That happened to me as well. Worked like a dog for a month and a new account and then poof it was gone. No explanation, except they went in a "different direction." Always some sort of spin they put on their lies.
The company I work for lost a big account and supposedly now are doing other accounts, but it is in conjunction with another company, so I am thinking we are a bandaid as well. Just taking it one day at a time.
