Anyone else just get terminated from TT with no notice?

Did they terminate you via email or just lock you out? - Curious about the method

Were you by any chance posting in the other threads about lack of work at TT? Did you happen to respond to any emails you may have gotten in response to any comments you made in a thread? I'm wondering if they were following the threads and somehow traced your IP address...or maybe I'm just paranoid because of their infamous lawsuit against the MT that posted here. Did they give you any explanation at all?

I would not put it past TT to pull something like this, finding out who was posting the TRUTH about them and terminating them. They are vindictive old biddies in that office. They remind me of Scarlett O'Hara--butter wouldn't melt in their mouths. But they will stab you in the back in the wink of an eye. Let us know more! We are on the MTs side against TT and the other scummy, greedy MTSOs!

you have the email you use on boards connected to a dummy acct. An acct with fake name, etc. Even then, I would be EXTREMELY careful about repling to any email from any public anonymous board.

Even a "dummy" account with a fake name won't help because on e-mail headers your IP address is fully visible, giving away your exact location within BLOCKS. Using a proxy may cover you somewhat on that.

I just did a trace on my IP address and it showed I was in Sunnyvale, California. The only problem with that is that I'm actually in Ohio. If they could trace IP addresses, there would be very few MTs left at TransTech.

Just because YOUR IP is coming up incorrect doesn't mean that's the NORM. That's called LOGIC.

Usually traces are CORRECT. If you are using a large provider (e.g. Cox, etc.) who uses a lot of servers to handle a lot of traffic, I would imagine the chances of an error like that would be greater. I will ask my IT guy about it.

No, they called. And I have never posted or replied to anything here before. The stated reason was the hospital pulled the work back in house, lack of work, no place to put me, those they kept based on seniority. I was given no notice. It was effective immediately. Was told they would give me a good reference.

It sounds to me that you weren't fired but were laid off due to lack of work. Get in touch with the unemployment office in your area immediately. Good luck to you!!

When TT switched to VR, there were a TORRENT of complaints from long-time clients who had NEVER complained before. With their cheapness, Transtech cannot keep good MTs so the complaints came fast and furious. So, did they finally lose one of their long-term accounts for the garbage that VR and poorly paid MTs let stay in FINISHED PATIENT RECORDS.

The rumor is TT is for sale. They have been flaunting labor laws for years. Is this the end of TT???

First of all, Transtech is NOT for sale. Sheesh. Second of all, they have NOT lost any accounts. If you people would bother to read, they were just rated #1 in KLAS, which is based solely on client feedback. Their clients love them. Get a freaking grip and stop trying to stir the pot! Don't you have better things to do with your time - like work?!?!?

So, please tell me why being #1 in KLAS is an advantage to MTs. It's sounds to me they have some very talented MTs if the clients love them. I wonder why they don't reward their extraordinary MTs for putting them in that position?

Believe me, the complaints came fast and furious after VR. But since TT overhires like crazy, that award could have only come from the hospital bean counters pleased with the TAT. They could not have actually READ the finished patient medical records and seen the CRAP that VR and poorly paid MTs have placed in them. The only client feedback that counts to TT and the hospital bean counters is $$$$. So, don't try to fool us with that "# in KLAS" crap.

Quit job to take guaranteed hourly paid editor position with MedScribe (FL) 3 weeks ago. Recruiter promised huge volume of work, plenty of backup accounts on hourly pay plus CPL for transcribed lines. Was rushed through paperwork to start immediately, gave only 5 days notice to former employer (burned that bridge) for an hourly paid "sure thing". Never saw hourly pay; only 0.08 CPL for full transcribe acute care, and only to catch up an out-of-TAT acct they knew was bailing ...

In almost every ASR report lately, there have been gross errors in the dosages of medications. In 1 report today, it had Colace 70 mg when the dictator clearly said 100 mg. Then in another report, it had Protonix 3 mg daily when the dictator said 40 mg daily. Watch your dosages closely!!!! Something is up! ...
