Tried to check my work email, couldn't log in. Checked Ultipro and apparently I was TERMINATED???????????????? Who is going to pay my bills, my rent? Thanks a lot MMODAL

No I wasn't off. Having the same problem as everyone else, no jobs available. Yesterday I checked my email and my CCM had emailed everyone saying they were changing some schedules around, blah blah blah. Today I tried to check my email and couldn't log in. Checked Ultipro and it says I was terminated as of today....no notification unless they sent in an email...but I can't check that.

find out whats going on. You dont just up and fire someone out of the blue and not even notify them or anything. Usually you have to be on performance management and go through the steps of that before termination. Firing should not come until after you have failed to improve (whatever the problem may be) on performance management. Please call someone and find out whats going on here. I really wish you luck and sure you can collect UE until you find something else. Lets hope someone made a mistake.

then it is probably a mistake. I have heard of this kind of thing happening before. MM has a policy they usually follow, verbal warning, written warning, performance management before they terminate employment (there are exceptions, but not many). Continue to call and email, escalate if you do not hear back by tomorrow.

I have had this done by several companies, all is great and the next day I am "locked out" of their system and no one ever writes back. They tell me my work is great, but probation period over, so companies have to start with the real line rate, which is still so LOW, i'm happy with .06 and I used to make .14!

While you can still get into Ultipro, try to print out the document says you were terminated. It may be the only proof you have.

Haven't heard anything yet. Called TSM and HR three times now, no response. Called support to see if they could help with logging in to check email, apparently I'm no longer listed in that part of the system. Will let you know what I find out.

If you were terminated, they have to pay your unemployment no questions asked. Possibly someone else can log into your ultipro acct if you can't so you can print off what you need. Good luck to you.

I called tech support and my log in info is not in their system, my name isn't even in their system. I've called my TSM and HR 3 times, no response yet. My TSM does not respond to my phone calls or emails. Don't judge me for freaking out, you're not in my shoes.

If you believe you were terminated without cause, and you weren't given any information or notice, and you cannot contact anyone at MM for information, then you need to contact your local employment office for information on wrongful termination. If they can't help you, they should know where to go next. If all else fails, contact a labor attorney in your area. The first consultation is usually free.

Still can't check email. Worked last night though until work ran out. Still haven't heard from TSM or HR. I can log into Schedule Source, DocQScribe, Ultipro, Remedy but I cannot check my email and Ultipro says I was terminated.....not sure what to think

This definitely sounds like a technical glitch...The first thing they would do because of PRIVACY is lock you out of the system that provides work..Can you imagine the lawsuit!!! Fired employee with access to medical records...I would be freaking too but as long as I can get in every part of the system but the email? Id keep working..and find the next person for the escalation procedure in the company site..

I probably would'nt be posting here, as I would be such a nervous wreck that the last thing I would be thinking about is this board (no offense to OP, everyone handles stress differently).

She has a legitimate reason to be upset, concerned, fearful or whatever else it is that she is feeling. Tech support does not even have her credentials or name in the system anymore, Ultipro says she is terminated, unable to access email or MQ central. Thats just crazy.

I sincerely hope this is just a mistake and some technical glitch and she really is not terminated. OP come back and let us know when and if you find out whats going on.

My TSM finally called me back. Claims she was calling the wrong number trying to let me know they had to let me go (My number is in my signature line, in the system and I leave it every time I call). According to her my line count has been down and I've received 2 notices. I only received one, didn't see the other until yesterday. I wrote her after the first one and suggested changing my schedule but never heard back. Emails I've received say my line count has been over the minimum, unfortunately I don't have all of them. Good luck everyone, hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I did go through the BOOST training in November and my line count went up. In December it dropped again and I received a warning (but they say its not a warning its just to let you know what you need to improve on or whatever). Then I thought, from the emails I was getting from MModal, that my line count went back up but apparently I received another warning in January that I wasn't aware of.

It's pretty much the same as MModal (I work for both). I find Nuance leaves you alone more and doesn't keep track of you the way MModal does, i.e. BOOST.

Plus there is the chance you might get the bonus and if you work evenings Nuance actually pays shift differential on VR, which MModal does not.

Also, I find I get more lines with Escription than Fluency. Fluency has some weird quirks and Escription is pretty much just Word and seems to be better with VR.

P.S. Not cheer-leading for Nuance, just if you need a quick job, they are as good as anyone else right now.

I was going to recommend Nuance too. Good luck - and I hope everything works out.

Wondered if anyone else got the boot for low production scam. Worked 15 yrs for this company and not just as a transcriber, "best of the best" I was told I was; "quality always is the motto." Never had a problem with production until no job situation arose. TSM called, I had 2 days a month for 3 months where production was down; got the warning; 2 days later got terminated. Oh yeah, first-time-right, quality first, of yeah. You all know MM selling out to JPMorgan subsidiary don't you? Gotta make the statistics look good. Oh yeah, it hurts. But, what comes around, goes around. I loathe India. You'll find something else, just trust your excellence.

Quit job to take guaranteed hourly paid editor position with MedScribe (FL) 3 weeks ago. Recruiter promised huge volume of work, plenty of backup accounts on hourly pay plus CPL for transcribed lines. Was rushed through paperwork to start immediately, gave only 5 days notice to former employer (burned that bridge) for an hourly paid "sure thing".
