among TTS employees that the owner is nutso. I was told several times from different people from recruiter to team leads to tread carefully with her because she is unreasonable and as they call it "difficult" and spends a LOT of time on these forums. You can tell which posts are hers. They have so many accounts backing up Nuance they might as well BE Nuance, use some of the same QA people and the voice rec is not good enough for the lph they expect. One of the managers is an idiot and wasted a LOT of my time asking dumb questions that should have been obvious. If you work on straight production you should be able to break when and for long you want within reason. That is why we choose to work at home. If I have low lph one day, someone else is certainly going to grab it up. They are paying the same amount for those lines no matter who is doing them. In the course of 20+ years of transcription I have worked for several of the major companies and TTS is by far the worst I've experienced except for Stentel. I despise Nuance, and I never thought I would say this, but Nuance is much better than TTS...run while you can before you waste your time.
