...with access to any account they choose, any WT they choose, any MD they want. So you need not wonder why you are only getting the sucky long rambling dictations or unintelligble ESLs.

This is really ticking me off. N...you are reading this right? I have stuck by you through all these changes..hanging in there, but I am REALLY angry this morning. Now you have QC fighting with the MT over work. My GOOD doctor's reports are being confiscated by QC even before they show up on my screen. They are not near TAT..they are not even 1 minute old and are disappearing to QC. It is because he is a good speaker. My not-so-good doctor's reports are NOT disappearing. My line-per-hour rate today dropped by 30 just for the distractions of checking, checking for work from this doctor and hoping to grab him. I know you don't care, but if I am forced to take on new doctors just because QC is grabbing mine and I can't get my required hours in, then I might as well go to a new company and start fresh. I mean, if I have to start fresh anyway, it will not be with the N.

QC are not allowed to type unless there is - a huge backlog. When we run

out of our QC work, that's it. Unpaid or PTO. IF (and that's a big if) we do type, we do not choose our work. We are entered in the pool just like everyone else and get next available job. Our QC work includes the worst of the worst multiplied times 10. There is no advantage of being QC. In fact, there's more taking advantage of going on rather.

Every team has their own rules, it seems. - Why does that not surprise me either?

Some supervisors have their own special incentives, I guess.

The ones on Enterprise are told what account and what jobs they have sm - know an Enterprise QC

to type, they can't pick at all. It's always the accounts nobody is on that have work close to TAT.

I have a feeling all the crappy reports are just the ones left after the intelligible easy ones get shipped to India. THAT is the more likely scenario.

Does anyone have any suggestion to stop a footpedal from sticking? I have to push on it several times to get the voice to play and then when I lift my foot up the voice files continues to play. What do you have to lose? The only thing that would turn me off is the 2 year requirement to stay here but a lot of companies do that. Some companies provide college education reimbursement if you stay working for them for so long after you graduate. I think MM knows that transcription industry is in the toilet so they are focusing on whatever else they can sell to customers and look good to their creditors. I just wanted to thank whoever suggested WD-40 for foot pedal sticking. I have an IN-USB-1 foot pedal that was sticking. I don't work for MQ, but work for another company that uses DocQscribe. Over the past few months I've had problems with program slowdowns, where it takes a while for what I've typed to "catch up", the audio keeps going even when I take my foot off the pedal, and I have trouble going back in the audio (it "sticks" at a certain point). Does anyone ever get hired from these companies who are continually posting help wanted ads?!?!? Hello, I am new to the forum and recently hired as an at-home MT. It has been a year since I completed college MT courses at a tech center. The employer, saw my resume online. I have been a MT for 30 yrs. I had to stop working 4 yrs ago due to health issues, then finally had 2 surgeries which pretty much took care of the problem. Eventually I was able to take over the general practice but had to give it up because my husband's health was critical.
