All the ads on the job seeker's board have hundreds and even thousands of responses. Does anyone ever really get hired? One of the ads wants someone to start "within the next hour," and that was a few days ago and it now has hundreds of responses. Why is that ad still even posted? Only rarely does a company take its ad down or post a message when positions are filled. Do the other companies just not care? Can it be that all those hundreds and thousands of responses are passed over for some reason or another? Does anyone ever really get hired? Is there any requirement on the board for companies to post status updates regarding hiring? The companies have a zillion requirements for the applicants, but they are too inconsiderate to take 10 seconds to post that positions are filled, thank you. I know that one or two companies do this, but most of the others just seem to sit back and ignore all us slobs without jobs who are willing to prostitute our competence for less than minimum wage.
