I got a call from the company Q hired - to find out why I quit

OMG! It felt soooo good to tell her exactly what my problems were there, and her responses often made me feel as though she had heard everything before. She was uber nice, and I told her that my problem wasn't w/ her but the company. She laughed again, told me she understood, and told me that Q needed to know where their problems were. I also suggested to her the boss swap show (can't remember the name but don't watch it) needed the CEO to be strapped to my computer 10-12 hrs a day to try to get in 8 hrs and then cancel his golf game on the weekend because he still needed 2 hrs and it would take 6 at least to get it in. Sorry so lengthy, but it just felt so good. Pls don't be a hater...If you're a newbie or an oldie (not meant negatively as I am in that category) and you're still able to make a decent wage and still have jobs coming in, GREAT for you!

and IMO they already know what the problems are but they don't care. Such a waste of time and money to do this calling. I'm sure it felt good to you to tell someone, but unfortunately no one will really hear you or care in that company. Not a hater, just my opinion.

Just curious.... how long after you left before you got the call. I had heard they called people, but I left on 08/15/2011, and never heard a peep. I was so looking forward to "venting" politely. Yes, unfortunately, they KNOW the problems so I have no idea why they waste the time calling anyone. And, I too have thought about sending some of the "Chiefs" to appear on UNDERCOVER BOSS, and see if they think our job is so easy after trying it! Never going to happen, cuz they already KNOW, just don't give a crap!!! It's about lining their pockets and getting rid of anyone who is making more than minimum wage!!!

I quit on 07/15 and the only call I have received was asking me to work extra about a month and half after I quit. I also received a call a couple weeks ago asking me to return their computer that I NEVER HAD! I have always used my own computer.

I love my new job and don't regret quitting for a minute. I now know how it feels to be treated well, paid well and respected on a job.

Maybe they haven't noticed yet. - Ya think?

It was roughly 3 weeks. I know the Q "heads" know and don't care, but I have no close friends or family who understand what we've all been subjected to, so it was nice just to vent, even if my subconscious knew it wouldn't change anything for anyone else.

They probably give ex-employees a place - to vent in hopes of - sm

I am tired and frustrated from applying and sending out resumes only to be ignored. It is like a game with them, I think. I have a question for all MedQuist MTs . . . I called them and was told that I qualified and passed MedQuist's test. That was about a week ago. Does anyone ever get hired from these companies who are continually posting help wanted ads?!?!? I have applied to at least 15 companies posting ads for help only to sit here waiting for at least 5 weeks, so far, for an answer to any for which I applied! Hello, I am new to the forum and recently hired as an at-home MT. It has been a year since I completed college MT courses at a tech center. The employer, saw my resume online. I have been a MT for 30 yrs. I had to stop working 4 yrs ago due to health issues, then finally had 2 surgeries which pretty much took care of the problem. Eventually I was able to take over the general practice but had to give it up because my husband's health was critical.
