I don't what your problem(s) have been with support, but the hospital I have worked at for 14 years recently outsourced all of us to Transcend and I can assure you, within minutes, I have always gotten a response / resolution. If for some reason I could not wait on an e-mail response, I have called many times and gotten resolution right then. As far as I am concerned, the support division of Transcend is the BEST!!

Depends who picks up the phone. Sometimes you get somebody who knows what they're doing, and sometimes you don't. Same thing happens when you call your bank, your credit card company, pretty much any kind of telephone support.

I spent the first 36 years of my career working exclusively in private practices locally. When my boss of nearly 28 years closed his practice October 1, 2008, I was hired by TRS which has since merged with Transcend. Those are the only two nationals I have ever worked for.

For the most part, I haven't had any problems, except for when my pc crashed and I needed an entire re-install, right around a holiday. I was given an "appointment" about a week away until I told the person I was due to work and I couldn't wait that long. They got me in the next day, so like the other poster said, it depends on who you talk to and I suppose how you respond to what they tell you. I'm sure if I would have just taken that "appointment" he would have given it to me.

and I mentioned that the ASR in DQS 7 is BAD, much worse than before. He said, "yes, I know - it's because the system has to relearn from scratch all the dictators, and it's going to be a while before it gets as "good" as it was before." He was just matter-of-factly telling me this. No skin off his nose (or his salary). My chaps my hide is that the MTs have to take a pay hit during all of this "relearning" time. I have switched accounts and can't see my lines for the new account. Have asked my TSM about it several times, to no avail. Called tech support and they can't do anything without a ticket but person I spoke to couldn't tell me how to get a ticket....and round and round we go.  And we have been told not to use the line counts in Dictaphone EXText but to go by the one on iChart. Frustrating! ...

Can't Tech Support "equate" The Sound Volumes?
