Can't Tech Support "equate" the sound volumes? - SweatShop

Do you think Tech Support could adjust the volumes so that the whispered jobs are amplified and the loud jobs are toned down, so there is like one set loudness?  I just had the one guy that you have to turn all the way up because he is across the room.  Of course I forgot at the end that I had the volume all the way up, so the next job literally blew me out of my chair.  I jump up about 4 inches every time this happens.  My heart is still pounding and my knees still shaking.  Wouldn't you think -- if they can put man on the moon, and if they can find a way to count our every stroke -- they could find a way to average out the volumes?

He could fix anything, he was fantastic. Phil you talk to and all his buddies are idiots, they read from a script and are basically clueless. I don't know where our programmers are or what they do? but they can't seem to fix anything, QA marker and the period following it has been messed up forever, ASR formatting, ADT question marks or pretty much anything, and you want sound adjustment? Don't hold your breath..

For them to work on the sound, they would have to care about our world, which they obviously don't. Brain lapse.

and I mentioned that the ASR in DQS 7 is BAD, much worse than before. He said, "yes, I know - it's because the system has to relearn from scratch all the dictators, and it's going to be a while before it gets as "good" as it was before." He was just matter-of-factly telling me this. No skin off his nose (or his salary). My chaps my hide is that the MTs have to take a pay hit during all of this "relearning" time. I have switched accounts and can't see my lines for the new account. Have asked my TSM about it several times, to no avail. Called tech support and they can't do anything without a ticket but person I spoke to couldn't tell me how to get a ticket....and round and round we go.  And we have been told not to use the line counts in Dictaphone EXText but to go by the one on iChart. Frustrating! ...

Who else gets annoyed when you get an overnight e-mail from a team lead or manager stating there is a high backlog on your primary, say maybe 300 reports, and within 2 hours it's down to wiped out?  Do they think we're stupid enough to not realize they are trying to justify sending that work to India by telling the client "well we sent the e-mail out, the Americans didn't get on so we had to give it offshores."  It's really annoying when the account has a 12-24 hour ...
