and I mentioned that the ASR in DQS 7 is BAD, much worse than before. He said, "yes, I know - it's because the system has to relearn from scratch all the dictators, and it's going to be a while before it gets as "good" as it was before." He was just matter-of-factly telling me this. No skin off his nose (or his salary). My chaps my hide is that the MTs have to take a pay hit during all of this "relearning" time. And that is not even to mention all the other DQS 7 glitches....ASR not recognizing when the dictator says "paragraph," and just puts it on a new line only, leaving out commas, and other little things that all up to one thing....a SLAM on the production. Now, I'm all for upgrading....but they should pay us training time until the system is as good/functional as it was before. Rotten. That's what they are.

You should be able to back this up with some real information and if you can't, you shouldn't be spreading speculation just to fire people up.

she got straight typing during that time also. I am not spreading speculation. Go back and read the boards where people said they also received extra pay for 2 to 4 weeks.

sort of training pay or either getting straight typing. We didn't get anything extra either, but it was a lot more straight transcription. I assumed it was because of starting DQ 7.

I talk to a girl on my team back and fourth via text and she got a lot of extra typing too and hardly any VR.

We were one of the first groups on Doc7, the next step from Doc6, not the Cornerstone version. We were given 1 cpl for all lines produced for 1 week and then 0.5 cpl for all lines produced the second week. It was mostly straight typing for the first week until ASR "learned" the dictators and then now it is all ASR.

Some other teams were given 1 cpl for 4 weeks or 2 weeks, totally depended on the CCM.

It would'nt surprise me if they will give it to you if you ask (or beg). I for one am not going to ask. This will just be another issue if someone decides to sue them for all this crap. They are sneaky.

As we have all said FOREVER, we need to be the main part of correcting these recurring issues that take ADDITIONAL KEYSTROKES redundantly from OUR PAY.

Why a company like this does not use our resources to IMPROVE its software and possibly make it more SELLABLE to the industry is unfathomable.

I have switched accounts and can't see my lines for the new account. Have asked my TSM about it several times, to no avail. Called tech support and they can't do anything without a ticket but person I spoke to couldn't tell me how to get a ticket....and round and round we go. Do you think Tech Support could adjust the volumes so that the whispered jobs are amplified and the loud jobs are toned down, so there is like one set loudness? What are your computer specs? DH brought up a good question tonight.
