Then how come I passed a test for another company with flying colors and am waiting for a call from recruiter, not getting my hopes up, but hopefully they do cal -- serioulsy I need something to hold on to, just got another e-mail reminding me about how much I do suck :(

You don't suck...but it entirely depends on who is - doing the auditing.

I am lucky..the person who does my auditing is reasonable and does not take glee in tearing apart a report. But there are some that I dare say take great pleasure in docking every little thing. I do not think style should be docked, unless it impacts the meaning. Ommitted dictation, incorrect verbiage yes, but the commas, and the numbers, and the mL vs cc (which goes back and forth depending again on who is auditing).. should be left alone.

I never failed an audit before. They are trying to get rid of us. I think it is rigged.

I also got docked for typing mL instead of cc which is a "dangerous" abbreviation. Go figure.

The auditor must audit everything. She does not get to choose which to "leave alone" and which not. There are no points deducted for punctuation. If MTs are failing audits, it's only because there ARE errors being made.

you should email the company that repeatedly tells you that you suck, and tell them in no uncertain terms exactly how much THEY suck! (Better yet, send a formal, typed letter on fancy letterhead with a watermark on it and a wax seal on the envelope to whoever is the C.E.O.) He or she needs to hear the unglossed truth about how crappy their company is.

Does it seem like no matter what you do it is not good enough? Here lately it seems like they only audit the worst dictator. The only reports they have audited for me lately have been ESLs lately. Is this really true? I was already on the fence about it....I despise ADHI but at the same time realize having CMT could possibly help find a job and sometimes (rarely) get a CMT diff. Not to mention the test cost $300 whether you pass or not. So now you have to pay to pass the RMT? This can't be true. I cannot seem to pass these MT tests to save my life. I spent all last week testing. I've been informed I've failed four tests. From what I've read, the CCS exam sounds difficult and I'm curious if any Andrews grads passed the exam as soon as they were finished with the course.
