That is correct. A two-year associates degree is not considered a college education. While it is education at a college, it does not qualify as a "college education."

Only a four year bachelor's degree gives you a "college education." That is the traditional and accurate definition of a college education.

The associates degree is only half of a college education. Not only that, but many universities will not accept transfer credits from two-year colleges that grant associates degrees. They simply do not recognize those programs or those degrees.
