Your plan is still actually better than - the Nuance one

Your premium is about half what the Nuance one is, the Nuance OOP is $2500 deductible PLUS OOP $5000 (so total OOP for Nuance single insurance $7500 and no copays at all). Not a lot of options unfortunately. Didn't take the insurance companies long, did it?

I wish we could at least have the choice between employer and ACA, it might make one or the other more competitive! When they don't have to compete and you are forced to accept employer's insurance or husband employer's insurance, that seems to go against the original stated aim of portability of insurance policies.
