Look, we are a team here... and I thought we work together. If we were working together riddle me this, why am I getting so many dictations today which are dictators who really really don't speak English at all and would need tons of blanks? Seriously... is any one else experiencing this today? Being Passover and Easter I understand the regular dictators are not on, and being the weekened, but can't we all share in the joy, and not have so many cherry picking?

I finally had to walk away from the computer because I had more than my share today of the worst jobs.

Is this my imagination? My instinct tells me it is not. Thanks for hearing my vent!

I was crying by the end of my shift, my head hurt, and I am so stress out now, and still have to do all the Easter work. Oh man... all that for $7.00 an hour. Forget it.

Do the CCMs ever do anything about this? I would at least run it by them..The heck with the 99% accuracy, I would fire the cherry pickers in a second..

Docqscribe can find cherry pickers if they chose to look - this program rocks

Unless things have changed, they can run a report weekly, daily or whatever to see abandoned jobs..If I was a CCM that is one of the things I would do regularly..I guess because it is a pet peeve of mine..Which is why ONLY MTS should be CCMs..we understand the workings of this job not just managing job flow, anyone can learn that its easy..

I know everyone wants to blame getting bad jobs on cherry pickers, and to some extent, that may still be true, but I think we need to stop and think that the biggest majority of good jobs have gone to India. MModal knows those are about the only jobs they can understand, and wouldn't be able to handle the bad dictators, the ones we're left with. As for me, I don't even try to cherry pick, because I know the very next job is just as likely to be as bad, if not worse, as the one I've abandoned. I still appreciate the essence of this industry, but what it has become as far as respect for US MTs, is deplorable. The closer time gets for me to leave, the harder it is to stay. So impatient to get out!!!

My old CCM would call you on breaking or abandoning a report and ask why you skipped that report. She was an MT and knew her job and ours. I miss her but she was promoted.

what areas you are in. I've been doing this a very long time and feel that the work I have now is the worst I've ever done. I'm in the West. Would like to transfer if I can get away from this crap. I know it won't be perfect somewhere else but this is mind-bogglingly awful. Are the rest of you in the West as well?

The problem is that the CCMs really do not care; I mean, they will SAY they do and that's it's not allowed, but will they actually DO anything about it? That's another story. They just want the work done so they can get there TAT bonuses--they don't care WHO does it. They don't care if it's not fair to the MTs. The (very few I'm sure) CCMs who used to be MTs and/or are fair, might stop it, but the rest....it's all about the bonuses.

The only reason there is an incentive running and there is extra work is because the Indian government gives their employees a week off for the holiday and we are expected I mean supposed to be motivated by the incentive to work it for them. I have been with my company for many years and have liked the account I am on until the past 3 months.
