There is nothing more irritating to me than to call for MOT on a holiday weekend knowing darn good and well that the workload will slow down and work might trickle in for the majority of the accounts, yet you expect an extra hour of overtime... kiss my grits MM

You offer bonuses for certain groups in a POD, send out emails on backlog and MOT for our group, yet I'm getting accounts from someone elses POD, not some other group but someone elses POD... kiss my grits MM

You ding me for putting a comma before the word "or" after 3 or more in a list (no nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hematochezia, hematemesis or constipation). Yet in the same job, a few sentences away you ding me again for not putting one (no fevers, chills, night sweats, headaches or dizziness)... kiss my grits MM

That's my ranting for the day!

Yep! After being a transcriptionist/editor for over 23 years, this is is what my career comes down to. Is Is.

We all know I should be charged with manslaughter as the patient surely died from my is is.

But the bigger question is is, why didn't your high tech, fancy schmancy ASR pick up on that, or your GREATEST dictionary ever?!

I've already caught my PC this week doing underhanded things on my timecard, so who is is to say they aren't messing with our jobs too?

I am sorry, but my trust factor on everything about MM is is 0%. Wait, should I have spelled that out (zero). Who knows any more because we have 15 different accounts who ALL have different standards, for which we look up for free.

The only reason there is an incentive running and there is extra work is because the Indian government gives their employees a week off for the holiday and we are expected I mean supposed to be motivated by the incentive to work it for them. Google the Indian holidays for 2011 and you will see when our next incentive weekend will be- end of October. Good luck to anyone working, you are welcome to the work I won't be doing. ...

Same old yada, yada, yada. It seems like they set my minimum at too many lines for me to ever achieve it so I don't even try. I work for the NorthEast section of Medquist and my supervisor wanted to verify all of our hours before we started getting locked-out of working hours other than our scheduled hours. My CCM has been harping on us voluntarily changing our scheduled to weekend hours, how "it won't hurt a bit" and you may quote me.
