I was wondering does anybody have a clue why in the world the volumes are so high. My gosh, I can't give anymore OT than I'm already giving! Believe me I'm happy for the OT, but was wondering if there are rumors if they let some go or are no longer hiring if people are let go or quit. Getting worn out!

i just logged on to work and there was NJA. it only lasted a couple of minutes, but it was then followed by an email that OT would not be required today. OT ON, OT OFF, WAX ON WAX OFF. this place is crazy.

I think they are gearing up to shift more work. This is the pattern... fire people, have too much work, transfer work overseas, have no work, people quit, have too much work, transfer work overseas, get a handful of new accounts, too much work, transfer work overseas, have no work...

Could it be from the earthquake in India that they are not working and you are getting slammed. Just goes to show you if they kept the work in the U.S. and treated their employees fairly and paid fairly, we would all have work, not all this MOT and be happy campers! But I guess MM can't do that. Keep us under their thumbs and they are making the money.

High work in my pod because of new accounts, work added from another pod. Supposedly new hires are to be added, but that has been for a couple of weeks. Beginning to doubt they even had anyone to hire. Plenty of people leaving. Me, still seeking my way out (i.e. job training/hunting in progress).

Who else gets annoyed when you get an overnight e-mail from a team lead or manager stating there is a high backlog on your primary, say maybe 300 reports, and within 2 hours it's down to wiped out? Do they think we're stupid enough to not realize they are trying to justify sending that work to India by telling the client "well we sent the e-mail out, the Americans didn't get on so we had to give it offshores." It's really annoying when the account has a 12-24 hour ...

It used to be January was a slow month on Transcend/Nuance Bayscribe accts but for the last 3 months the work has been nearly invisible. They want you to make the LPH, and hour hours, but the work is not there. I anyone else seeing this? What have you heard from your TSM. Worried! ...

just wondering if anybody else in west has been noting marked decrease in work volumes. My major acct used to have, at least on weekends, 200, 300, and even in the 400 numbers of jobs and lately the weekend work has maybe been 50 at a maximum. I guess just another acct gone to India. ...

Do you think Tech Support could adjust the volumes so that the whispered jobs are amplified and the loud jobs are toned down, so there is like one set loudness? I just had the one guy that you have to turn all the way up because he is across the room. I have been working on it for about 6 months and don't feel I am gaining any speed on it at all. I have requested more work and have been turned down. I have asked for another account and the same thing, turned down. I have been switched over to cover many accounts and when asked was told that the high producers are working on other accounts and I need to switch to cover.
