Ok Team Leads:

We all know that you are busy and we all know that you answer countless e-mails a day, but guess what?? That is the job that you chose and you knew that you would have to take this on. I am not just a robot who deserves short, snotty comments when asking a question pertaining to my job. You may e-mail but the tone and shortness can be heard when reading the e-mail. We are human beings that deserve a descent answer. I'm not saying you have to kiss our butts, but geez, when we sit in front of our computer to EVEN GET WORK, the last thing that we need is YOU being witchy with short, witty comments. What did we ever do to you?? WORK countless hours for little pay? I bet 100% that if we all didn't need our jobs, we would tell you where to take the job and shove it!

To be the advocate for the other side, I was once a team lead for a company I loved, which then got sucked up by a bigger company. My job went from a job I loved to a job I hated. When I worked for the smaller company, I knew what was expected from our team and I was there to help make that happen and answered countless emails and phone calls with a smile on my face most of the time. I wasn't expected to produce a certain amount, just lead and help my manager make the team the best it could be..LOVED it!! Then, when we got sucked up by the bigger company........you have to PRODUCE, no matter what, PLUS answer countless emails and phone calls 24/7..NO..I QUIT. Now I work for a fabulous small company again, happily producing and LOVE my job again. All this to say that the lead job is not all that it is cracked up to be sometimes....depending on WHO you work for.

Yes, but my point is - IAMA HUMANBEINGTOO!

You as team leads HAD to know that you were going to be swamped and had to do all this in a day....don't take it out on the MT that asks questions pertaining to the job and work. We all know that if we DIDN'T ask questions, we would get zinged on that as well. My thing is they say to ask, ask, ask. Well then we ask something, and they act like you are as stupid as the bedpost. Come on!!! I'm not saying it is everyone, I am speaking from my CURRENT experience.

Who has the the insane job of deciding on changes in the account specifics? Not the important ones. I have the same old complaint----my team lead and her sidekide "SUPER QC" not answering their emails. Only this time, I actually got a response (2 days later, but at least I got one this time). I was intrigued and surprised....until I read the email. It seems she did not even read it. I was asking her an account specifics question because one QC corrected me for doing something one way, so I did it her way and got corrected by another QC.....same pay period, no bonus.&nbs ...

No one "leads" anymore, they just direct traffic. I can remember when the "leaders" used to help their employees so they could get a better line count, get through the hard dictators, or just do whatever was in their power to be encouraging. I bet I'm not alone. Your new pay plan is cruel. I would rather miss out on having a quarterly bonus and getting emotionally destroyed once in a quarter rather than every single day. This doctor is absolutely disgusting. I have umpteen jobs for him and he is constantly coughing and snorting up his snot. I can't take it any more. It is so gross. He sounds like a snorting PIG. manipulate MTs' work queues any way that suits them, just because they can? They know just which jobs are crap & which are at least doable or that 1 in 10 pretty good dictator, and no sooner does an MT download a job that's at least understandable/doable, these low-lives snatch up that job for themselves or 1 of their friends as soon as the MT gets it in his/her queue?
