Nuance team leads leaving - in a hurry?

Anybody heard this? 3 TLs left abruptly?

I heard some left along with some TSMs from the Transcend time have left recently. I have no idea what is going on. I would like to hear what happened too.

From what I understand, 3 TLs who were originally with OTT (On-Time Transcription) were let go due to restructuring. All accounts they handled were spread out among other TLs. On-Time was acquired by Accentus last year, which was then acquired by Nuance. I know this sort of thing sometimes happens with these merges, but it's still a very sad situation. Those 3 ladies were darn hard workers and a pleasure to work with. They will be missed.

I heard a couple of weeks ago, that one TSM was demoted. She was just the sweetest person. So if anyone knows what's going on, please post it if you can. Thank you.

I wish my TSM would leave in a hurry. - Totally worthless.

Is that TLs originally at Nuance or are you referring to others such as TSMs from Transcend that are leaving? or other merged companies, can't even keep track of it anymore, how many there have been in the last couple of years.

If you're talking about former team leads when it was Transcend, yes, a bunch of us are leaving. If they are smart, they are joining the lawsuit. I am one of the former team leads, and my last day is tomorrow. When Nuance took over Transcend, the team leads took a hit in a big way, massive massive pay cuts. Accounts changed. They have made it so hard on many of the former team leads that we either have to deal with it or leave... I am choosing to leave as are at least 5 others that I know of....

that so many of you are leaving, at least too bad for N. Great bunch of team leads at Transcend. I had my doubts when Transcend took over MDI-MD, but glad I stayed for that one. Didn't last with the transition to N, evidently they did not give a hoot whether they kept the MTs or not. I was under the impression that team lead situations were going to stay the same, evidently not. I wish you luck and a happier place in the future!

I came over to Transcend from MDI, and I too had my doubts right at first with Transcend, but the transition was pretty smooth. I have worked under many different team leads on many different accounts, and I honestly cannot say a single negative thing about any of them. :)

My current TL is a wonderful lady who is quick to go to bat for her team of MLS. I sure hope she stays for a while... At least while I'm here, until I can find my way out of this profession and away from this particular company. She's one of the reasons I stayed on with the transition to Nuance, but things are changing a little too fast for me and with too little information until the last minute. I know it's not her, but it has made it very difficult to stick it out... at least for me. I know we lost quite a few MTs when things first started changing... I'm sure we'll lose more as things progress..

I feel like I'm living in a nightmare right now and there's no way to wake up from it.

I wish all of you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do, whether it be to stay or to go. :)

NOBODY IS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTION YOU MAY HAVE. All the sudden no matter who is "on" always has a busy notice up on their status. I have the same old complaint----my team lead and her sidekide "SUPER QC" not answering their emails. Only this time, I actually got a response (2 days later, but at least I got one this time). I was intrigued and surprised....until I read the email. It seems she did not even read it. I was asking her an account specifics question because one QC corrected me for doing something one way, so I did it her way and got corrected by another QC.....same pay period, no bonus.&nbs ...

No one "leads" anymore, they just direct traffic. Would that be a bad move? At least if I went to Nuance, I wouldn't have to worry about being bought out! I have worked for TT for three years. I used to love it there. Somebody fry these bas****s! Document EVERYTHING! Someone posted about how to save the voice files. Also save your completed document into a Word document so it can be proved that the document was created on a certain date and never modified. Sorry QC was put on the grid and suffering losses (like we have), but from my point of view the more of them leave, the more work left for us. Isn't that horrible we are reduced to feeling that way about our co-workers??? Some QC say they are not allowed to do MT unless the account is behind, some say they are allowed when they run out of work. From the length of time we have been suffering from OOW I have to believe they can and do jump in on our work when out of QC ...

manipulate MTs' work queues any way that suits them, just because they can? They know just which jobs are crap & which are at least doable or that 1 in 10 pretty good dictator, and no sooner does an MT download a job that's at least understandable/doable, these low-lives snatch up that job for themselves or 1 of their friends as soon as the MT gets it in his/her queue?
