Thanks for the heads up. I did see those posts before, just forgot about them. So many companies, so little time!

It is bad enough with all the stuff we have to put up with, I am not about to work for someone and worry about pay; been there, done that, thank you very much. Of course they want you to test, how I hate that, takes so much time and then I usually don't pass and don't know why, so unless I have a boat-load of free time (yeah right), I may test, but highly doubt it. Again, thanks, guess I'll keep my day job!

Test is not with Career Step so you will - passed

probably pass, it is an easy test. Anything said on this site should be taken with a grain of salt. Some maybe disgruntle employees, you never know unless you try yourself.

My test was with Career Step - Justtested

I just tested yesterday with Transportal and the test I did was based on Career Step. I graduated from Career Step and the sound files used were like those of the Career Step program.

I was offered a job with them shortly after graduation. The recruiter was very honest and told me that they pay was 7 cpl and there was no room for advancement and on that account there would be no raises. Being a new grad, I was okay with that because 7 cpl is pretty standard and it would get me a bit of experience. First she said she would e-mail me the test as soon as she got off the phone, 2 days later I had to ask where it was. I was offered the job and was told I would be called the next day to schedule training. A week later I had to e-mail to see what was going on. My training was then rescheduled 3 times in 1 day and I was told the following day or maybe the next. They might have been a GREAT company to work for, but my feeling was that if they were that disorganized in the hiring process it could be even worse once I was working for them. The other issue for me was that it was a clinical notes account for 1 specialty. I didn't feel like that would give me the experience I would need to move up in the MT world. The same day my training was rescheduled 3 times I was offered a job with a very well respected MTSO doing acute care. Needless to say, I took that job. The way the Transportal recruiter reacted to the very professional e-mail I sent her told me that I made the right decision. ;-)They could be a really great company to work for, but at the time I was not willing to risk it for experience doing clinic notes.

Just got hired with them... and I'm on my last day of the first pay period... and let me tell you!!! If you get an offer... RUN!! It sounds good, but is far from it! Their sound files are horrible, they don't pay you any kind of training pay ( which I mistakenly MISSED on my part!! oops.. won't make that mistake again), and only give you LIMITED WORK while on QA review which amounts to like 200-300 lines a day!, and.... they have no account specifics whatsoever f ...
