I have been there only about a year, but it has been great so far. Plenty of work with no ESL dictators. Straight transcription for my primary and secondary accounts. I am an IC and so far my experience has been a good one. Many changes going on for MTs in recent years, but I think TransPortal is still a good option to consider. I recommend them.

Hope those changes have been in management and how - they manage. NM

Decent place to work. One of the better MTSOs that I have worked for as an IC. They seem to be committed to onshore labor.

I applied to Transportal last week and received an email saying it takes two weeks to respond. Anybody else have that? I am waiting to hear from them.

even longer, like a month or more. They make it seem like they are so busy that they just do not have the time to respond. They will eventually, but just not maybe in the time frame you are looking for in order to start work. It then will take several weeks for the IT person to have time to get to you in order to set up your computer... and then, of course, to set up the time in order to do training on their system. It could take several months before all is said and done. I wish you luck!!

I received the email one of the other posters received over 6 weeks ago and have not heard anything else. I reapplied because on the website the job is still posting but did not hear anything the 2nd time around

Is there enough work during 3rd shift? Is the platform easy to use and easy to get your lines in with? How is the health insurance? I saw the premiums for the different levels but didn't see what type of coverage this is (deductible, copays, etc.).
