If you're looking at doing clinic work for them, you have a primary, sm - anon

clinic to work on and then any other clinic that they have, you will type if they need you to type on it for TAT. So in essence, you could have a day that you will type on a clinic that is not your primary (along with your primary), 2 weeks later type on a different clinic, or a month later type on a different clinic. Just a little FYI if you're looking for something with a primary and secondary account, your secondary account will be all those clinics that are behind and they need help with (however many they are). Not sure about their acute care accounts.

The system is okay to work on (not the best, a lot of mouse usage) and they pay on time.

No company is perfect, but I have been there over two years and it has been great for me. Rarely run out of work, assigned account, no badgering, and have always paid on time with DD. Line rate is probably just average. They seem to always be adding new accounts.

...has been a good one. I have only been an employee now for six months. Training was good, support has been good, professional supervisor, fair pay, direct deposit. I only ran out of work right around Christmas for a day or two. I communicate with other members on the team I am assigned to and they all seem happy as well. I would recommend Transportal as much as the other MTSOs where I have worked.

Transportal has been good to me for over 2 years. Fair pay and ontime deposits. They only get "tough" with nonperformers, whiners, and folks who spend more time counting lines than actually typing, or spending time watching what other MTs are doing. I have only been short on work 5 or 6 days in over 2 years and i was happy for the break! I am only part-time, but still i depend on my part-time wages and have not been disappointe. But all things in this world now are shakey and one must stay calm and perseverant. Blessings to all of you.

I have been short on work since the holidays, just about every day (full time and doing more than the required line rate). They get tough with anyone who has something to say that they do not want to hear. My experience, they don't care what the MT wants as long as the lines get done period, have been given the opposite of what I have requested. Obviously, I have learned to keep my mouth shut!!

So Transportal now gets caught! Wage and Hour walks in their doors and audits their payroll and they are made to pay out MTs that were not paid minimum wage or overtime. They're supposed to send transcription test today. It's been a few wks since I applied so forget what ad said. Found some posts in archives and somewhat concerned. One said they use "tests" to get actual work done, hired but never heard from again, another said scam (from 2006), pay 7.5 cents for 17 yrs of exp with clunky platform, and so on. Not much in archives & I just started IC with them as a temp position until I find something better. The pay is not great but it is per 63 character line count and the acute account I'm on double spaces PE section so that helps. Platform is DocQscribe which has to be the easiest one I've ever used out of M*Modal/eScription..etc. The speech rec is not as precise as eScription but on the + positive side this IS the 1st company that doesn't QA NITPICK unnecessar ...

Ours from the West has (thankfully) gone back to being another MME like the rest of us poor mortals. I found her e-mails to be bossy, snippy, condescending and picky to the point of absurdity.
