I wish you would convey to your hospital that in time their transcription will likely be going to India. They may be under the impression that you and other American MTs will be doing their work, but in time that won't be the case. I'm so furious that these hospitals are outsourcing our jobs, yet they, and the doctors, may not realize what's actually happening. If you work for them, you'll likely only earn 4 pennies per line for SR and 9 pennies per line for transcribing.
