I think this has happened to a lot of us. My company was bought out by another bigger company and they had to keep us on for a year. At the end of that year all but one of us was gone either by their own accord or fired. They had to allow us to stay on our hospital account, but as soon as they could, they had other people trained which is why they could can us...My best advice for you would be to get unemployment and look for a job outside of transcription, maybe even appointment scheduling at the hospital or even out of the hospital altogether.
