Hi Blindsided, I've been out of the MT field for 4+ years now. I was an MT, happy and proud of it, till the day I got "the news" that MedQuist (now MModel) had acquired us. For the first few months all was well, then little by little the chiseling away started. The day I decided to leave, was the day I received notice my account of 10+ years was going away. I'd seen enough to know what that meant - the cesspool. Didn't take me long to see the writing on the wall. Fortunately, I had started planning my escape when the SHTF. I miss being an MT, but my bills are paid. Start planning to get out now, before they cut your pay and you have to take the first thing that comes along just to survive. Good luck!
