Most of us have gone that route. Only you can make this decision. Not knowing how old you are or how devoted you are to transcription, I can't offer advice except to say, if you have any inclination whatsoever to doing another type of work, go with that. No matter what they tell you, it is difficult to earn a living doing speech recognition. You will be making the same corrections over and over as SR does NOT learn. Again, I'm so sorry. I know that sick feeling you must have. My best wishes to you.
