So, tell me, when I work as an IC and the - MT Posted: Mar 24th, 2016 - 9:42 am
company I work for sends me an email and/or calls me every day (and I mean every day, even my days off) for me to work off of my scheduled hours for their backlog, shouldn't I be requiring them to pay me more for on-call transcribing when it's not in my contract with them? We never talked or negotiated for this service. Am I just supposed to do it at the same rate out of the goodness of my heart? Would they? Please tell me if I'm just being uncooperative.
