Why are you on a schedule as an IC? Do you - sm Posted: Mar 24th, 2016 - 2:43 pm In Reply to: So, tell me, when I work as an IC and the - MT
realize that as an IC that you cannot be placed on a schedule? Oh, I know what you see in job postings, and each and every company that does that needs a fresh reminder from those who view the postings. There are a number of good posts here on the company board and recently on the main board. Please read those. The IRS does not care what a contract states. Their job is to determine the amount of control a company exerts regardless of a contract. Too much control, and the IRS will rule you are not an independent contractor but an employee.
