Nuance bonus for qtr ending in March ? - NN

Did I totally misunderstand or are we being grandfathered in for the bonuses of the 1st quarter to help with adjustment to the new rating system where an error in a short report is a KILLER?

My understanding was that we were grandfathered for the production based bonus but not for the quali - anon

your overall average QA score is 99% or higher on post audit reviews. That's what was on the training web link.

I don't know who ''we'' is, but if you're from the last buyout, - that was my understanding.

Speaking of errors and shorter reports, though, the length of the report is actually really moot, since the overall QA score is based on deductions from *total lines* for the quarter, I was informed by my TSM. Example: You have 4000 lines audited and 20 error points in the quarter, dividing the 3980 result by the 4000 total equals a 99.5% QA score.

So this having to mark "Reviewed" on any report under a certain percentage is basically bogus since the actual overall QA score is not based on an average of percentages. I am least thankful to find out that they use total quarterly lines, if nothing else.

that once QA gets your name and number, you'll get knocked down so far under 99%, you'll never get back out. Then, when you keep trying to get that quality up there, your TSM nails you for not meeting your LPH quota. Get ready...it won't take long. So sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you just need to do your best and forget about those quarterly bonuses. :(

they will not find me signing on to push out some extra lines on Friday when they are short staffed. I am a part-timer so sometimes hitting that 7,000 lines is a struggle so it may not be worth it for me to put any more extra effort into it and just rest on my days off.

I have been with Nuisance for 2 years. Every time I start making money on an account, I am switched to another account. I dont understand how this profits anyone. Nevertheless, it happends every time I start making decent money.

I believe they think if they keep me below poverty level I will jump in there and help out on Friday, when amazingly, everything starts piling up. They already have 1 of my weekend days, so I just be damned if they are going to get all my weekend.

Nuance, you manage people worse than any company I have every been involved with. I wouldn't give you an extra minute of my time. I DON'T LOG IN TO FIESA, I DONT READ YOUR SILLY EMAILS. Basically, anything that I am not paid for, I'm not doing.

So the best thing to do is not focus on the bonus. It will make you sick. I just do my 8 hours and turn the computer off. I don't check my email the days I'm off. They give nothing, they get nothing.

Yes, I am looking for a job. Have been for 2 years.

@sm. So glad I'm not alone. When the told me to log into Fiesa to read the feedback I asked them how should I bill them for that? They told me it's already part of my pay. I asked them to show me where in my production pay am I getting paid to read Fiesa? If it's mandatory work then they must pay. If it's not mandatory then I'm not giving my time to them. I was told if I don't read Fiesa then I might be considered insubordinate. LOL! Nuance sucks.

and regarding the bonus. I got it once and then they changed the requirements and have not been able to get it since. My accuracy is always above 99% until bonus time then all of a sudden it's lower than 98% AMAZING! They lie.

About once a month and then I don't dwell on anything unless it says I "failed" a report - then I look to see what they say the errors were and research it. Some I've had to contest and had overturned, others not so lucky. I figure one day an attorney will make them pay us for logging in to that crap because you can't pay people off of production and then make them work on another system you don't get on to be there, and they don't want to pay us as "training pay" to be on it - yet they claims we should go there and review reports we sent to QA for assistance as that is "training" us. Can't have it both ways I think.

Anybody heard anything solid, or not so solid, about this? I can't seem to get any information on a date for disbursement. And now that the DSP and nDSP were messed up on the last pay period (resulting in erroneous QC Percent scores), I'm afraid it's going to be delayed even more while that gets corrected/ironed out through another pay period. Maybe somebody else's team lead is a little more in the know or more communicative about what's going on? ...

While other people I know are receiving bonuses during this holiday season, I received yet another pay cut and unpaid vacations from my employer. I now earn yet again significantly less and quite frankly can do better collecting unemployment. Does anyone know when this might be paid? Coming from Transcend, we were "grandfathered" in at 99% and supposed to get 10% for the first quarter. Does it include all money earned including the bonus we get if we have over 12,501 lines or just our measly base rate? I guess this is my one and only bonus here. Appreciate your help. ...

I know it was just asked how they figure out their bonus, but I am concerned because I found recent posts that say the lines are "weighted", and their own ad says "quality based" incentive program. For a while they were advertising for help hot and heavy with big sign on bonuses. Now, no big help wanted ads and work is slim on many of our accounts. I guess not enough people have quit and they are overstaffed (surprise surprise). My opinion, having been in the industry for over 30 years and after reading a few posts on this subject below. For years a good deal of MTSO's including Webmedx had in place bonus or incentive plans based on production ONLY. Such a plan most likely helped Webmedx win "employer of the year" for years. I work for a major medical center that is in the transition phase of pearl/cerner with the program that allows the physicians to pick from templates and pen based/touch screen to do their own reports as they are seeing the patient, which is phasing out transcription all together. We may have 30 days, may have a few more months, they cannot say for sure. Well, another job bites the dust! After working for the same MTSO for 5 years, she just notified us that our job will be ending at the end of the month. The hospital did not renew our contract and signed with M Modal instead. The same exact thing happened to me after working for another MTSO for four years prior to this one. I am not up on my business particulars, but when this "merge" - ahem - took place March 1 (I think) of last year, could all contracts have been resigned for a specific period of time, say 1 year, or did contracts just continue as is until they were up, more than likely ending on various dates?
