No bonus for last 2 days of March.... - Longtimer

On the timesheets they presented today approval they didn't have the QA payroll bonus for the past week. Don't I remember they told us everyone was getting it for the first quarter...which would have technically ended 3/31? I've sent an e-mail to my supervisor and manager asking as I don't want to sign off if they're trying to pull one on us and "forget" to give it for those last 2 days of the quarter which of course was in a different pay period. Will let you know what they say. I figure they execs get it instead of us.

Supervisor sent everyone a copy of the payroll schedule and according it all of last week is grouped in the "colors" for the 1st quarter and at the bottom of the page it says QA score is 1/1-3/31. Looks like they don't have their ducks in a row here.

That's not what I was told by HR in the past. It supposedly goes - strictly by the ends of the months.

It clearly states pay periods and quarter breakdowns. I would believe this more than something I was "told." Perhaps companies bought out have differing schedules.

I do actually have the 2013 NTS Payroll Calendar, and the dates are exactly as those I stated above, in a box below all the payroll dates in blue, pink, lavender, and yellow, the same as Longtimer's calendar.

Are you with one of the recently bought-out companies? I've been with Nuance (also bought out) over 2 years now. I don't understand how you could have such discrepant information and apparently a totally different 2013 NTS Payroll Calendar.

Well, wow, this is really something. Here's my calendar:
QA quarter 1 - 12/22/12 through 3/22/13
QA quarter 2 - 3/23/13 through 6/21/13
QA quarter 3 - 6/22/13 through 9/20/13
QA quarter 4 - 9/21/13 through 12/20/13
(was not bought out, original employee hired early 2012)

I don't know when a prior version supposedly came out, but mine is a "revised" version (bottom left of each page below the page number). Maybe that's why it had to be revised.

they don't know about this one because the 2 different versions of the payroll calendar either show that it goes by calendar dates which include through 3/31 or another version that goes through 3/23....but we got paid for the QA last week. Looks like they're picking and choosing which to use!

I am not up on my business particulars, but when this "merge" - ahem - took place March 1 (I think) of last year, could all contracts have been resigned for a specific period of time, say 1 year, or did contracts just continue as is until they were up, more than likely ending on various dates? Thank you for my Q2 bonus, the first ever for me. However, I really could have used the money during the last 3 months. If divided up over those 3 months, I would not have had to borrow money for food. Please reconsider this punitive bonus plan you have. The money would be better served in my paychecks. We used to get the monthly production bonus as a separate check on the 25th. I didn't get a separate check for this although I should have qualified. Paltry as it is, every little bit helps. I do see an "incentive bonus" on my regular paystub, but I'm not sure if this is from some past incentive I have since forgotten about or if they are now just putting the regular monthly bonus on one statement along with our regular pay. Have you found that it's getting less and less for the VERY SAME AMOUNT OF LINES? I got a smaller bonus (piddly as it is) this month for MORE lines than I produced a few months ago and got a larger bonus for. I know the bonus is pretty much based on some kind of whim and/or some computations that require a master's degree in mathematics to figure out, but it would sure be nice if they could be consistent. Our accounts are so backed up due to yesterday's system fiasco (over 3500 minutes on backlogs) that CCM just sent out an email that we are getting $10 extra per hour for hours over our scheduled shift. This is over and above OT pay for those extra hours. This is starting today at 3 pm eastern and ending tomorrow at 3 pm eastern. I never go for the ridiculous incentive bonuses that MM offers because, like everyone knows, they are pretty much unattainable, but ...
