I wonder how many people actually receive one and if so how much. Also, has anyone heard whether they are going to make the QA score a pay period score instead of a quarterly score?

to what it is now, but since Dec 24 I haven't gotten squat. To beat it all I pulled up Fiesa and found I had been marked off for a blank that I had sent to QA. I tried looking for this and could not find it anywhere, it isn't like I send line filled reports to Q all the time but there are times when you have to. I am just so discouraged and ready to move on.

I used to get them too. My last bonus was also in December of last year. I got every incentive up to that point, then QA hit me hard and I have not been able to even reach an incentive with bad QA and low line rates. Oh brother!

I've got the bonus every pay period since they started the new tiered bonus system... usually have around 4% sent to QA and 99.65% QC score. Almost always fall in the tier 4 or 5 range - so is usually between $200 - $300 extra per check...

Not too bad, much prefer this over the old quarterly program they had (although, only been here a little over 1 year now).

I always like a little more information. How many hours a day do you work? How many days a week? How many account? Many templates? Percent ESL? That information helps to put things in perspective. Thx.

I'm fulltime, 5days 8hrs a day - my primary usually runs out of work on 1 or 2 days, and I have 1 secondary account.

Primary has almost no normals/templates - maybe 1 in 60 or 70 reports I'd guess will any doc use one. Probably around 15-20% ESL docs. I'd say around 80% VR on avg most days, sometimes more, sometimes less.

My secondary account has a lot of ER work and a good amount of normals used - but I'll usually only do around 2000 lines max (VR) on that account over a whole pay period.

Most ESLs after a few dozen reports are easy to figure out, just need to be lucky enough to have the same ones on a consistent basis.

Much worse are the unclear-fast-talker combo and/or low talkers where the VR misses whole paragraphs... is the absolute worst typing out a whole report and being just paid for VR work.

I have received the bonus every pay period since the new plan was put into place. I just got put on a new account a couple weeks ago so my line counts aren't great yet and my bonus is like $75-$125. I work full-time (40 hours) and have 5 accounts--my accounts are changed all the time for some reason :(. This is at least my 3rd new account this year.

and since I only work part-time I will never reach the ridiculous amount of lines needed to qualify for a bonus. Kind of discouraging for part-timers. I was part-time before and I received the bonus but not any more.

I, too, am a part-time MT and was sad to see that there was no way we could possibly make a bonus. I used to always get one, but you are right, there is no way this is possible for a part-time person.

Thank you for my Q2 bonus, the first ever for me. However, I really could have used the money during the last 3 months. If divided up over those 3 months, I would not have had to borrow money for food. Please reconsider this punitive bonus plan you have. The money would be better served in my paychecks. We used to get the monthly production bonus as a separate check on the 25th. I didn't get a separate check for this although I should have qualified. Paltry as it is, every little bit helps. I do see an "incentive bonus" on my regular paystub, but I'm not sure if this is from some past incentive I have since forgotten about or if they are now just putting the regular monthly bonus on one statement along with our regular pay. Have you found that it's getting less and less for the VERY SAME AMOUNT OF LINES? I got a smaller bonus (piddly as it is) this month for MORE lines than I produced a few months ago and got a larger bonus for. I know the bonus is pretty much based on some kind of whim and/or some computations that require a master's degree in mathematics to figure out, but it would sure be nice if they could be consistent. And now that the DSP and nDSP were messed up on the last pay period (resulting in erroneous QC Percent scores), I'm afraid it's going to be delayed even more while that gets corrected/ironed out through another pay period. Our accounts are so backed up due to yesterday's system fiasco (over 3500 minutes on backlogs) that CCM just sent out an email that we are getting $10 extra per hour for hours over our scheduled shift. This is over and above OT pay for those extra hours. This is starting today at 3 pm eastern and ending tomorrow at 3 pm eastern. TransTech in TX is offering a $500 sign on bonus for experienced oncology MTs & MEs. Perhaps the tables are turning. I'm already working as one, but am not the least bit happy with the account as the reports are only a few seconds long and the busy work between each one takes longer than the transcription - thus you are not paid for half the work you do. MTSOs need to recognize this and that there is competition, i.e. TransTech! Do I hear $600!? ...

Be interesting to see if I qualify for this. I got one last time, but it seems like every one of my reports is being audited and they are marking off for such stupid stuff and 0.25 adds up after awhile. Everything from invalid blanks to "failure to flag" Something has definitely changed over the last few weeks, never has it been like this before. I have always had 99 to 100% but I can't seem to even get to 98% now what with all their mark offs. So stupid. ...

I got one last quarter which was a huge shock and I believe if I get one this time, it will probably be the last one I ever see as FIESA is now deducting for everything - semicolon instead of colon - mom not being capitalized - an S not at the end of a word - things that really in no way change the meaning of the sentence but enough to bring my percentage down as low as they have ever been in 15 years of transcribing. I am trying to ignore, but it gets more difficult every day. ...
