Mark me for missing the word "the" in a sentence??? - and on a dictator who mumbles 100 miles per hour?

I can top that! I got an error marked for a sentence - that had no errors! Zilch! - s_m

The QA people post the "incorrect" sentence on the left side of the page, and the "correct" sentence on the right side of the page. Both sentences, spelling & punctuation were 100% identical, and 100% correct. Yet they marked it as an "error", and I got dinged.

As you said, they're just making sure none of us achieves a 99% accuracy rate. ********** !! (Insert defamatory, insulting, vulgar description of QA here.)

Was it an audit? - or did an MME check it

Big difference. If it was an audit, I would certainly call that out and get it corrected. If it was an MME (what used to be QA) who did it, then it's just feedback and can be ignored, and is possibly just a mistake on the MME's part. Since the new DQS, MME functions have been horrendously buggy.

I don't know if the other minor errors were from the client or QA TL then looked at it.

I couldn't find the patient name either and I was told the information in the database was there when I transcribed the report. I don't see how they could say that with certainty as the work was dribbling in as it was dictated and the patient was a new admit, but if that is true, then DEP is not working right at times.

I get really angry when I am "called" on something I put extra effort into to no avail.

us stress. On my one account the client does not use the QA box so I started taking a minute and noting it there when I cannot locate a patient because then if the report is pulled for any reason I noted it. It probably would not help my case, but I already make peanuts so I figure what the hay. It is too hard to remember what you did an hour ago let alone a day or two later when you are trying to go at the speed of light.

It was an audit, it's happened before, and I've called - it out before. Total harrassment after that! (nm)

Just make sure you remember that as you look at all the ILP work that only has a standard of 75%.

My employer has agreed to pay to have me fax reports to several different facilities. I have to print out every report I fax (if someone knows a different way, I'm listening)... so, we're talking time, paper, toner, wear and tear on equipment..... How are people out there calculating to do that? My employer hasn't a clue and I'm treading unfamiliar waters? Any help?? ...

I seem to be spending an awful lot of time in VR documents, so I am confused as to why I am getting paid less for them. This stupid VR system types whatever it thinks it might be hearing and sometimes doesn't type anything at all. I hate this VR. $15 an hour on a daily basis. I am in a horrific job right now (outside of my home) and need to make at least what I am making now which is about $15 an hour for a total of $97 a day. I've been working with this company for over 90 days. The first 90 days was a paid internship. Paid hourly, minimum wage. I am now a full time employee...paid on production. However, I can not even seem to make minimum wage while on production pay! It is driving me nuts and is very discouraging. I'm not sure where to point the finger. Apparently the account I work on will be going completely offshore. I am being moved to an account that I know has work (at least for now, not sure how many others will be switched to this one too). After celebrating having no make-up pay last paycheck, I have an absolutely horrific amount of make-up pay this paycheck. The difference?????? Didn't MQ make the CTL's become MME's? If that happens to the MT's and you reject it, I assume you will be fired and if so, can you still collect unemployment? What if you they point blank and say, you have to become an MME or you will have look elsewhere. Can you somehow collect unemployment whether you quit or get fired or will you lose out unemployment benefits. Basically, it is a no win situation for us MT's? ...
