Does VR make anyone - literally sick

after doing report after report? Most of the reports I do are long, and there are so many incorrect words, looking at the mess that makes so sense, following along with the words, and correcting literally makes me nauseated. I feel like my eyeballs are crossed trying to focus in where the dictator is which is hard when the words I see are not the words I hear. Sure can tell a transcriptionist had no part in developing this crap. I have given up complaining, no one really cares what stress it causes the transcriptionist, only do it quick, right and cheap.

[ In Reply To ..]Especially if the dictator is stumbling and VR is just adding or deleting entire phrases and I have to edit the sentences and then read and re-read to make sure they make sense. VR makes me crazy with putting "and" instead of "in" and "for" instead of "4," etc., etc. My eyes glaze over and the words literally cross each other on the screen....my chest hurts from the stress of it all....

[ In Reply To ..]I thought it was just me! After a few hours of VR, I have headaches and eyestrain like you wouldn't believe. I've quit MT/VR editing and am currently working at a local grocery store. Stressful, but at least I don't have to deal with a computer all day long.

Didn't MQ make the CTL's become MME's? If that happens to the MT's and you reject it, I assume you will be fired and if so, can you still collect unemployment? What if you they point blank and say, you have to become an MME or you will have look elsewhere.
