So if one is having difficulty meeting production and their final warning is next...will I qualify for unemployment for not meeting my company's expectations? And yes, I am an employee and just went from full-time to part-time and does that make a difference on unemployment benefits?

they keep changing and increasing their minimum requirements. Not the same as when you were hired/acquired. You never agreed to the higher (unattainable) standards they keep setting.

If you are UNABLE to meet your company's standards, whether it be educationally challenged or you just can't "catch on" you WILL DEFINITELY receive unemployment. I am NOT saying, of course, that those factors apply to you, but when filing for unemployment just let them know that you tried your hardest to meet the expectations and they decided to let you go anyway. You will be awarded unemployment.

If so, don't worry, they won't fire you. They will just try to make you so miserable you'll quit. Play the game and don't pay attention to them.

I just looked into this, as I was considering going PT from FT and wanted to make sure if I ever lost my job I'd be covered under unemployment. The answer is yes, you can still get unemployment even if you are part time. It's based on how much you have earned at the job, not hours worked. As long as you earn the minimum required to get unemployment, it's all good. And as far as I know, if you are let go because you were not meeting expectations you should not have a problem getting it. It's when a person is let go for violating company rules, not showing up, stealing, etc, where they can turn you down for being let go.

RIPPED OFF ON FINAL PAYCHECK Jun 30, 2012I resigned from MModal a week ago, June 23rd and received my final paycheck deposit yesterday. It was over $100 short! I worked the same number of hours I also do and transcribed within the ball park the same number of lines. I also had 12 hours of PTO they owed me for that I had not used.
