Has anyone who has left MQ either by quitting or termination had any trouble receiving their final paycheck(s) and PTO balance?

I had no trouble getting my last paycheck. However, the PTO comes as a separate check. They owed me 70 hours of PTO and my PTO check was $40.52!!!!! Good luck.......

How do they justify that? Sounds illegal to me. nm - Anon

Here's what happened.... I had to go part time because there was no work. Then 1 year ago when the SE got those HUGE accts that begin with "H" we were told we would have tons and tons of work so I went back to full time. I kept noticing on my paycheck that my PTO was not growing. After 3 months, I finally got an answer as to why. The paperwork for me to go full time was never put through, even though I had been working 40 hours per week, every Saturday and every holiday. During the past year, I had 6 CCMs. It was always the other one's fault. It never got fixed. Then I finally called LS the RD and she said she would fix it, but she didn't. Just kept stringing me along.......... That's one of the reasons why I quit.

The only thing that stays the same at MQ is change.....change supervisors, change areas, change office or no offices, change platforms Medrite to DocQScribe, change Etime to Teamwork, which actually has to be converted to Etime, change Work Flow Coordinator to none, then change Team Lead to none...drop the pay and drop it again. I had the same problem as you with managers...whatever their title is - I was statuatory and then an employee and PT and then FT and then back to PT and then back to FT....half the time they didn't know what I was .......they told me once I had to switch back to PT and left me on FT.....so I was getting PTO at the FT rate, but they were only scheduling me PT hours...one of my supervisors told me they had never switched me...so I could just change my hours back to FT any time I wanted to......one of my supervisors quit because they couldn't stand it anymore....and she gave them notice and they told her forget it ...you're gone...so she emailed us privately to say goodbye...I should have left a long time ago, but I figured I would wait it out......well, now I'm gone.......and somewhat relieved

I work for a very pleasant, friendly, small transcription company, BUT paychecks more than a couple of times are not getting to me and they say it's the post office, and to contact my postmaster. I ask for a reissue and then do send, but its then a week or more late. Once one of their checks bounced!! I just need to vent. I am an IC who is supposed to get paid every week by my employer. Her checks were on time at first, then 1 day later, 2 days later, 3 days later, etc. I went on vacation for 1 week. I decided to look how many hours left in PTO and it was deducted today because I used some PTO on this paycheck that should have been deposited in my account yesterday morning. I think that is good news? Payroll doing their job? Maybe it means paychecks should be in our accounts in pending mode which should be deposited first and then deductions taken out next. I thought I found a good company to work for until I got a two returned checks from them in the mail. The first time I thought mistakes can be made but AGAIN my check was returned. That really upsets me because I work hard for this company and they give me a bad check. There is no excuse for doing this to an employee. I finally cut ties with the Q after being returning to work for them and finding them not to be the company they once were or the pay was not the same. After careful consideration and finding another position, I resigned. Awaiting my pay out from my PTO and being told it would be deposited today, nada. Anyone have any idea about this? This was published in the Federal Register last week, correct? I have a friend who is in a battle with an insurance company over a very sick child. They are always throwing up obstacles for coverage. She told me that out-of-network treatment is covered at 50% of 200% of Medicare rates. So we are trying to uncover exactly what that rate is. I have been waiting for final pay from MTSO since May when check was "sent" It has not been received by me, nor has it been returned to MTSO. Operator of MTSO says they have "fulfilled their legal obligation" and the fact that I have not received money is unfortunate. I just received a score on my Allied Med School Final exam of 84%, which really surprises me as I have been scoring upwards of 95 on the assignments and felt really good about these 5 transcriptions. I am doing a DS. I can't believe this has never come up before (or I've forgotten!) - When typing LAVH-BSO on the diagnoses, can I use LAVH-BSO or do I need to spell it all out? I resigned from MModal a week ago, June 23rd and received my final paycheck deposit yesterday. It was over $100 short! I worked the same number of hours I also do and transcribed within the ball park the same number of lines. I also had 12 hours of PTO they owed me for that I had not used. Has anyone ever been told that the final pay from an MT company will not come all at once, and will be divided up into 2 final payments? I thought this company would send me one final check, but she stated that they are sending it out according to their pay schedule and the final check will not come until the second week in June!!
