Does anyone have any personal info on this company?. I applied for a position last week and they sent me an email wanting references, which I supplied to them. I followed up iwth an email as to the position and they stated they would be checking references this coming week. Thanks in advance.

Out of all the companies posting ads and what not, this is the one that caught my attention, although was deleted twice from the board, although I'm still not sure why.

I'm still in training on their system but everything has been a positive experience so far.

I sent them my resume and that same day the director called me and offered me a position. Believe it or not, I did not have to test. Just like the old days, went with my resume.

Director stressed that they are all about QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY. I believe they said they have about 170 employees or so. I have hired on full-time with benefits (yea) for acute care, straight typing. NO VR/SR and no off-shoring (way cool).

Full-time 12,000 lines per pay period. Part-time 6,000 lines.

The account I'm on uses MedRite, which is new to me so I'm still really slow on it.

That's about all I know right now, so far I really like working for them.

I'm not sure about currently, but I'm pretty sure that they used to offshore a few years ago too.

No, they do not off-shore, but everything is going VR. - Small company but good

Not everything is going VR. They have multiple - currentemployee

accounts and not all of them are on VR. I have been with them for 3 years and have seen negative comments about them on here through the years, but personally I have no complaints. Flexible schedules--at least on my account, and my supervisors/QA are very good with communication.

tell me how that works? I know the insurance premiums are less than a regular health plan. If your company puts 500 in your account, does that mean the first few times, for example, until you use up the 500, you don't pay ANYTHING or is it the opposite...you pay the entire office visit cost until you reach that 500? Wonder how many ex-Meridianites got the layoff? sitting here NJA again...on 3 accounts. I am so frustrated. Meridian was probably one of the last MT companies in the industry with integrity. They had very flexible schedules, above average pay, always plenty of work, wonderful QA, very reasonable expectations, and respect for their employees. I had hoped to retire there. Is this common practice? I've worked for them for 7 years and now they are cutting our pay?
