Meridian/MModal - Confused

Does anyone know where our supervisors went? First an email that any returned work from an account and we are put on 100% QA and then no word from anyone for 2 days straight? Wonder what is up.

never hear from your other supervisors and likely will never know what happened to them unless you are in touch with them personally. That's what happened for DSG. Some took longer than others, but eventually they were just all gone.

I'm a meridian MT and didn't receive any such email. Wonder if it is only certain accounts. I do understand what you are saying though about our supervisors. My very personable team leader has been almost non-existent lately.

Yes, an email regarding one of the new accounts, that 1 returned job and we are on 100% QA which will affect our pay. Of course, who wants this account now? Since then, no updates morning or night, not one email.....

I work in QA and am aware of the problems you mention. Please be patient with your supervisors, they are overwhelmed with all the new changes. They are not purposefully ignoring anyone. You may not have been receiving emails because the email system this past week has been horrible - which may also be why status reports have not been sent as regularly. Either the mail is too slow or it doesn't send at all. I can't even read all my email because it takes too long to open each one. It has been very frustrating for all. As far as the notice to be put on 100% QA - I do know that it is only for the one (fairly new) account. That client is very particular and very unhappy with the number of errors coming through to them. Things should settle down soon. Don't hesitate to email your supervisor or QA if you have any questions or concerns!

Wonder how many ex-Meridianites got the layoff? sitting here NJA again...on 3 accounts. I am so frustrated. Meridian was probably one of the last MT companies in the industry with integrity. They had very flexible schedules, above average pay, always plenty of work, wonderful QA, very reasonable expectations, and respect for their employees. I had hoped to retire there. Is this common practice? I've worked for them for 7 years and now they are cutting our pay? Is anyone else having trouble getting work at Meridian? Looking through the archives, it seems some have plenty and others very little, though the couple with plenty was a few months ago.
