Command Health vs TransTech Medical Solutions - looking
Posted: Jan 05, 2014
Can anyone who works at either of these places give me more info on them? I need to know which one to go with... Both have Oncology openings, so it would be for those accounts. I'd like to earn more this year with a better company than the lousy 15K I just earned this year. The company I'm with now is nice and has treated me well in all aspects, but the low pay isn't working out for me. I'd like to know things about these companies such as pay, line requirements, straight typing or VR, PTO, holiday pay or not, schedule flexibility, assigned docs or accounts, etc. Anything, good or bad, would be appreciated and helpful in my decision-making.
TransTech - HUGE HOSPITAL
[ In Reply To ..]
The oncology hospital is on Fluency by MModal. The program is HORRID. In 6 months the VR learned very little and you are still making inane punctuation changes and basic grammar changes....
TrandTech - Out of Business
[ In Reply To ..]
Loved TransTech but left because of Fluency (M*Modal). I think the hospital got sold a bill of goods on that totally inadequate plateform that still cannot spell Texas. If you go with them ask for an account that does not have anything to do with M*Modal or the Fluency platform.
You will make very, very little money with TT out of TX. sm - MTmom

I also worked for TT some months back. Their oncology account is the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) in Houston. I worked primarily on the MDACC straight typing account when MedQuist had it years back - but that was then, now is now.
If you haven't heard by now about TT out of TX is that they will get very, very vicious if there is even a hint of complaint about any platform, continuously crappy dictators, etc. I could go on an on - do not complain to them about ANYTHING.
There is the initial honeymoon phase for about the first 2 weeks. Even if you're the best, they'll keep you on full QA for about the first 3-4 weeks.
Is their platform easy to use? The one I work on - looking

now is MModal, and I have nothing else to compare it to as far as VR. It's the only one I've worked on.
I see from the post above there is another platform - looking

they use other than MModal. I was wondering if it is something commercial or one of their own proprietary programs. thanks
That hasn't been my experience at all - TTMT
[ In Reply To ..]
I have been at TT for 2 years working on acute care accounts and I have never once experienced them being "vicious" at all, not even remotely. Anytime I have brought concerns or things that may be perceived as "complaints" to my account manager, she has always been very responsive and helpful and my issues have always been resolved. I'm not sure what you mean by "vicious," but that has not been my experience at all with TT.
have you been offered positions - or just considering applying

Command Health oncology positions are filled.
Emailed offer to test for Oncology with - Command Health

by their recruiter and thought of applying with TransTech if not offered anything by Command Health. When were Oncology positions filled? I just received email invitation to test and took test on Thursday of last week.
Command Health? - anon

Seeing good and bad info on TransTech both here and above this thread but nothing is being said on Command Health... Can anyone give info on them other than the Onc accounts being filled?
Saw that, BUT - anon

Pay rate, holiday pay or not, schedule flexibility, assigned docs or accounts were not discussed; thus, the question was asked. I DO look before asking.

I know I get 15 days a year and take my holidays from that. I don't think it is any different with a new hire. For flexibility, depends on what region and who your super is, but from what I have seen, very flexible. Used to have assigned docs, now assigned accts. For pay rate, differs depending on what system you are on. If on the CH platform, base rate of .04, then build up from there with bonuses.
And by the way, they are US only, do not outsource whatsoever.
Thank you! - Looking

That sounds promising! I hope to hear back from them, as I feel I did well on their test. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. :)

Well, I found out about how long it took for them to get back to me after posting my previous question... LOL! Anymore advice on CH? How is their SR platform for Oncology?

TransTech Medical Solutions ~ Oncology Jun 26, 2014I know there has been a huge amount of info posted on this company, but I have a specific question. I see they are hiring, once again, for oncology MTs, but my question is this...They want oncology experience with acute care, so do they put you on an oncology account and acute care accounts or what? I have never done acute care, but have over 22+ years in medical and radiation oncology, so I'm wondering whether I should even bother applying with them since I don't do acute care? And se ...

TransformMT/Command Health Jan 07, 2013I have read some of the comments on this company, but they are about 9 months old, so I am looking for more current information.
I am so tired of having to jump from company to company because so many of them lie in their company information.

Command Health Advice Oct 07, 2013Like I've said in previous reviews/posts about this company, if it's the cardiology account, you were warned. They have other accounts and Transform accounts, but if its' the cardiology account, you will not make any money. MOST, like 98%, of all jobs are very short and if you use free Express Scribe, which they have and will download on your computer, the quality if bad and hard to hear the docs clearly. You have to buy a voiceplayer like Gearplayer $200, Bytesc ...

Command Health - After The Response I Got From Them Dec 31, 2013I applied for a position with them using their online application form. After the response I got from them, I don't think I would want to work for them if they can't even hire someone to proof the messages being sent out. Here it is:

Any New Command Health People? Feb 20, 2014I've been there for a couple of weeks and so far am not too impressed with volume of work available (ie not enough work for the number of people grabbing from pool) or with communication (ie there is pretty much NO communication about ANYTHING). There are good things about this place compared to my previous job, but I hope things improve in other areas.
If anyone works there and has any thoughts to share, please feel free. ...

Does Command Health Require A Set Schedule? Jan 19, 2014I have a friend that worked at MD-IT prior to the Command Health buyout. She is still with the MD-IT division (or whatever they call it now), is employee status but is able to work whenever she wants as long as she meets line requirement and doesn't go over 40 hours a week. Is this the way it is across the board for Command Health? I thought I needed an IC job for flexibility, but if I could have that flexibility as an employee that would be great.
