Union membership in the US - The first Anonymous

Union membership in the US started to decline when the big 3 automakers started sending jobs overseas, as well as loss of other manufacturing jobs. Before someone tells me I don't know anything but think I know it all, that is my personal observation and I don't have any statistics.
