Clearly, you are seeing all of the red flags here and it seems that you are after PTO ??? If any company contacts me after a year of no contact, that would be my first red flag. Then, you say you have insurance under your husband and thirdly, having a husband is usually a good backup plan (in most cases). Finally, why would any company ask for a background check and a credit check??
My response would be: Hard Pass.
No thank you and keep it moving.
The grass is not always greener on the other side. Might be better to simply stick with what you have. At least, that is what I would do, and a lot of others seem to agree.
