situation? What I think is strange is the fact they are asking for a credit check? That is total. BS. Based on your post, they are not extending you credit, they are not offering you a credit card, you are not handling any of their money, you are not doing their books?
What the hell business is it of theirs what your cred it is? I pay cash for everything; so, I literally have no credit score.
I would run. Sounds to me like they want a whole lot from you and are paying crumbs.
