Legality of fining ICs for errors LoL - wondering

Yeah, I've seen those contracts. I'm wondering if they are legal. I don't think it would stand up in a court of law. If someone does a job for you at an appointed rate, they are obligated to pay you for the work you do. If they don't like the work you do, then you do not continue to hire them to do the work. They cannot cut your wage because you made an error.

Unfortunately, too many of these WOMEN have put up with serious abuse in this industry for years, AAMT never did much of anything to further the credibility of the profession and upgrade it to a profession. They are used to the old abuse systems and don't realize they have legal rights as an IC.
