So anybody who works for a company that uses a system that limits access to your reports or "assigns" particular reports is a crossing the line and has now become an employer & must pay your taxes. Most of you are so used to the abuse that has gone in this business that it never occurs to you that you have rights of any kind. Once they contract us independently, they cannot tell us what work we HAVE to do, they cannot assign certain harder reports, etc., and limit our access to other work or they become responsible for our taxes. End of conversation. Yep, suffice it to say that I have been seeing this crap a lot especially with companies that are contracting with the older MT companies and still running business as if we are all employees & they can tell us what to do and/or force us to do what they want us to do.
